Entrepreneurship and economic empowerment of women and youth
We work with governmental and non-governmental organisations to design and implement macroeconomic policies that can deliver results for women, addressing issues such as the links between women's paid work and inclusive growth, the impacts of the economic crisis or the role of gender in agriculture and trade policy.
We provide them with analysis and data to guide their policies to make them more gender-sensitive, and we help civil servants and gender equality advocates develop the skills to design and implement them.
IDF Corporate promotes women's ability to secure decent jobs, accumulate assets and influence the institutions and public policies that determine growth and development.
Our goal is to ensure higher incomes, greater access to and control over resources, and increased security including protection from violence.
Thus, in the field of entrepreneurship and economic empowerment of young people and women, our missions focus on :
- Training of Trainers in Entrepreneurship
- Development of entrepreneurship training programmes and tools
- Accompanying micro entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship promotion institutions
- Evaluation of policies to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment
