Engineering
IDF Corporate carries out basic and detailed engineering studies, site plans, civil engineering, electricity, water supply, expenditure tracking systems and participates in engineering projects. Below we present the major steps, namely :
- Basic engineering studies consisting of:
- preliminary design and implementation studies (general energy diagrams, fluid circulation, carrying out any soil and resistance studies, etc.);
- definition and sizing of the equipment required for the proper operation of the installation
- identification and characterisation of effluents and control and safety devices;
- creation of the basic engineering plan to move on to the second stage.
- Detailed pre-studies which include:
- mechanical specifications of the equipment;
- energy and fluid usage calculations, refinement of fluid flow plans
preparation of tenders for the equipment;
- Detailed site plans;
- initial civil engineering drawings including electrical, piping, and mechanical.
It is at this stage that the specifications are available for the procurement of the bulk of the equipment and materials.
- Detailed studies which consist of :
- placing material orders, drawing up contracts, negotiating, etc;
- prepare the fluid flow plans so that the construction can be done;
- prepare detailed plans for civil engineering, electricity, piping,...;
- integrate the plans of the material suppliers;
- carry out planning and set up a monitoring system, particularly for expenditure;
- prepare for the implementation of the site.
